Conflict Minerals Report
 
This Conflict Minerals Report (CMR) majors in due diligence investigation for the tantalum, tin, tungsten, Gold(called 3TG) of Wortmann Display products resources. These 3TG may likely come from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries, or from recycled or scrap sources.  
The report period from July 1 to December 31, 2016.

Reasonable country of origin information (RCOI)
We confirm that our products are used 3TG not from the Democratic Republic of Congo and adjacent countries. The main conduct based on the report of suppler vendors.  We reasonable believe that our  3TG not from DRC or adjacent to countries, and not from recycled or scrap sources.  In addition, we will continue to conduct due diligence to comply with national or internationally recognized due diligence architectures, and report the detail of the action.
 
 
Due diligence measures
We develop and implement due diligence procedures to protect human rights and prevent from the direct or indirect financing of armed conflict.  The due diligence measures consistent with "from the OECD to have a conflict or high-risk areas responsible mineral supplier due diligence guidelines" (hereinafter referred to as "OECD Guidelines") and the related due diligence supplement documents. We did not buy directly the original minerals or unrefined 3TG, and we did not buy minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjacent to countries.

Due diligence includes the following elements of OECD framework:
1. The establishment of management systems;
2. Identification and assessment of risks in the suppler;
3. The implementation of the relevant policies to respond to the risks identified;
4. Expand SORs independent third party audits for smelting and refinery due diligence;
5. The annual report for the due diligence of the suppler。
 
 
 
Description of the due diligence investigation
Due diligence actions as follows:
˙Set up an internal team to manage conflict minerals due diligence program.
˙Conflict minerals policy published in the website, including the 3TG survey of supply chain ;
˙Ask direct suppliers to use CMRT to provide information about the supply chain smelter. The first CMRT survey was conducted on the end of 2015.
˙Supplier survey analysis.
˙Provide suppliers smelter data to improve response rates and increase the accuracy of the information;
˙Release the due diligence list of smelter;
˙Propose Wortmann AG Report of suppler due diligence

Measures to reduce the risk and due diligence in the future
Wortmann AG will continue to adopt the following measures to improve the due diligence and reduces the risk of suppler :
˙Continue cooperate with suppliers to increase the recognition accuracy,  heading to CFSP validator to ensure that conflict-free source of minerals
˙Encourage to participate in CFSP to achieve conflict-free certification
˙Conduct supplier audits to execute suppler conflict mineral policies and practices.
